Renal Ventures Management, LLC (RVM), a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney disease, has announced that George Aronoff, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.P., has been named its Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Aronoff has been the Assistant Chief Medical Officer at RVM since November 2013. Current CMO Thomas F. Parker, M.D., will remain a part of the executive team, transitioning into a clinical affairs role.
"I'm eager to take on the role of Chief Medical Officer," said Dr. Aronoff. "Renal Ventures Management is growing, and I believe we are well-positioned going forward as we continue to focus on the quality of care for our dialysis, infusion and vascular patients."

"Dr. Parker’s contributions to Renal Ventures Management and the dialysis industry give him a solid foundation for further achievement. He will continue to support Dr. Aronoff on specific quality issues."
Dr. Aronoff will direct the RV Quality programs, including RV CARE, RV Kidney Care and RV TLC (Team-Linked Care). He will also assist RVM Chief Operating Officer Pat DiGiovanni with operational policies and will work with the executive, management and facility teams.
Dr. Aronoff was Chief of the Nephrology Division in the Department of Medicine at the University of Louisville for more than 20 years. During that time, he was Medical Director of the largest freestanding dialysis unit in Kentucky. Dr. Aronoff also supervised an active home dialysis program and contract services for in-hospital acute dialysis and hemofiltration. He has served on the board of directors of the Renal Physicians Association, the medical advisory board of the American Association of Kidney Patients, and the board of directors of The Renal Network, Inc.
