Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

We must have a sweet tooth since our next kidney-friendly recipe is ice cream.  We all scream for some delicious, blended, fruit-flavored strawberry ice cream!

Strawberry Ice Cream

(Makes 6 half-cup servings)


Ingredients:

1 (10 oz.) package, frozen sweetened strawberries

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup crushed ice

3/4 cup non-dairy creamer

1/2 cup sugar

 

Preparation:

Place all ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth and all sugar is dissolved. Pour into a shallow square or rectangular dish and cover. Freeze until firm.
